This woodcut installation is a life-sized replica of my former studio in Minneapolis, USA. It uses the simple language of black and white shapes to create space in the tradition of trompe l'oeil. The piece shows that although the technique of black and white woodcut is minimal, it can be pushed beyond simple positive/negative contrast to make a fully realized environment.
